Winds will gradually shift toward the southeast on today. Light winds and low seas are expected to persist through Tuesday. Beyond Tuesday...the forecast is highly dependent on the track of Hurricane Ike. At this time...Hurricane Ike is forecast to enter the southeastern Gulf of Mexico late Tuesday and move toward the central Gulf of Mexico by Thursday. On this track...mariners can expect increasing winds and seas beginning late Tuesday through Thursday. Please refer to advisories issued by the National Hurricane Center for more information on Hurricane Ike.
