Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
High pressure over the southeast and low pressure over the southern Gulf of Mexico will maintain a weak to moderate northeast to east flow across the middle Texas coastal waters through Friday. East- northeasterly winds and seas will increase over the weekend as a low pressure area approaches from the western Gulf of Mexico. An upper level disturbance will move out of northern Mexico into south Texas on Sunday providing a chance for showers and thunderstorms over the coastal waters into Monday. The surface low pressure area will move into the north-central Gulf of Mexico Monday with a moderate to strong northerly flow continuing over the coastal waters into Tuesday.
