Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
A strong offshore flow will persist in the wake of a cold front through Sunday before diminishing. Gale force gusts will be possible late this afternoon through the overnight hours over the offshore waters in wake of the frontal passage. High pressure will settle into the coastal waters on Monday with a weak onshore flow developing by late Monday afternoon. The onshore flow will strengthen Tuesday and Wednesday as low pressure develops in West Texas. An upper level disturbance will bring a chance of showers or thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday. A weak Pacific cold front will push off the coast Thursday afternoon with dry conditions developing in its wake.
