diminishing to 20 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to light late

overnight and increasing to northeast 20 Saturday afternoon. Wind

increasing to northeast 30 Saturday evening. Flurries ending this

evening. Snow beginning Saturday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less

in precipitation. Temperatures zero falling to minus 6 Saturday

morning then rising to zero Saturday evening.



South Labrador coast

mid Labrador coast - Hopedale and south.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind southwest 35 knots diminishing to 25 after midnight and to west

15 Saturday morning. Wind diminishing to light near noon Saturday

and increasing to east 20 Saturday afternoon. Wind increasing to

northeast 35 Saturday evening. Snow beginning Saturday morning

changing to rain Saturday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in

snow. Temperatures near zero.



Mid Labrador coast - north of Hopedale.

Wind north 20 knots backing to west 20 this morning then increasing

to 30 this evening. Wind diminishing to west 15 Saturday morning and

to light near noon Saturday. Wind increasing to northeast 25

Saturday evening. Flurries ending this evening. Periods of snow

beginning Saturday afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Temperatures near minus 1.



North Labrador coast - saglek and south.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind north 35 knots diminishing to northwest 25 this morning then

backing to west 30 near noon. Wind diminishing to west 20 Saturday

morning and to light near noon Saturday. Wind increasing to

northeast 25 Saturday evening. A few flurries today. Periods of snow

beginning Saturday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in

precipitation. Temperatures near minus 1.



North Labrador coast - north of saglek

northwest Labrador Sea - northwestern half.

Wind northeast 40 knots increasing to north 50 near noon then

diminishing to northwest 40 after midnight. Wind diminishing to

northwest 30 Saturday morning and to north 15 to 20 Saturday

afternoon. Snow ending Saturday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less

in snow. Temperatures near minus 2.



South Labrador Sea - southern half.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind southwest 30 knots increasing to 40 this morning then

diminishing to 30 overnight. Wind diminishing to west 20 Saturday

morning and to light near noon Saturday. Wind increasing to east 20

Saturday afternoon and to 35 Saturday evening. Snow beginning

Saturday afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.



South Labrador Sea - northern half

northwest Labrador Sea - southeastern half.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind south 30 knots increasing to 45 this morning then diminishing to

west 35 this evening. Wind diminishing to west 20 near noon Saturday

and to light Saturday afternoon. Wind increasing to northeast 20

Saturday evening. Flurries or showers beginning near noon and ending

near noon Saturday. Temperatures plus 4 falling to minus 1 Saturday

evening.



East Labrador Sea.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind southeast 30 knots increasing to south 40 this afternoon then

veering to west 35 near noon Saturday. Wind diminishing to west 25

Saturday afternoon and to east 10 to 15 Saturday evening. Rain and

fog banks ending this morning. Showers beginning this evening

changing to snow Saturday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog

banks and in snow.
