near-gale wind events and weather hazards.





A. West med: a broad area of low pressure over northern Italy will





produce mostly cloudy conditions and isolated rainshowers throughout





the forecast area. Expect moderate subgale northwesterly winds in the





lions oparea. No high winds and seas 12 ft (3.7m)or greater are





expected over the west Med.





B. Cent med: high pressure will build into the central Med producing





fair weather throughout the forecast period. No high winds and seas





12 ft (3.7m) or greater are expected over the cent Med.





C. East med: a low pressure center over southern Turkey will produce





mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers throughout the forecast





period. No high winds and seas 12 ft (3.7m) or greater are expected





over the east Med.





D. Black sea: weak high pressure dominates the black sea producing





fair weather throughout the forecast area. No high winds and seas





12 ft (3.7m) or greater are expected over the black sea.





E. Baltic sea: high pressure builds over the United Kingdom and





ridges into the scandinavian peninsula producing fair weather





throughout the forecast period. Expect moderate northerly winds to





persist in the sbalt oparea. No high winds and seas 12 ft (3.7m)





or greater are expected over the Baltic Sea.
