Vis : good.

Angola (06s/15s, 00e/west coast)

wind : W to SW 05 to 10 in the extreme east and North-East

otherwise S to se 10 to 15.

Vis : good but moderate in showers in extreme northeast

and east.

St Helena (15s/30s, 00e/20w)

wind : cyclonic 15 to 25 over the central parts and extreme

South-West, otherwise S to se 10 to 20.

Vis : good but moderate in showers in the extreme South-West

and over the central parts.

Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m in the east and southeast, with SSW swell.

Trades (15s/30s, 00e/west coast)

wind : SW to NW 15 to 20 in the extreme south-east, spreading to

eastwards by the end of the period, otherwise

S to se 10 to 20 but SW 10 in the extreme east by the end

of the period.

Vis : good but moderate in showers in the extreme south-east.

Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m in the south, with SW swell.

Tristan (30s/40s, 00e/20w)

wind : cyclonic 25 to 30 in the west, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25

but SW to se 10 to 15 in the extreme east during the first

half of the period. It will be W to NW 20 to 25 by the end

of the period.

Vis : poor in rain and showers in the northwest.

Sea state: 2.5 to 3m, reaching 3.5 to 4m in the extreme east during

the first half of the period, mainly SSE swell.

Cape west (30s/40s, 00e/20e)

wind : W to NW 20 to 30 in the east spreading to the extreme east by

the second half of the period, otherwise SW to S 15 to 25

reaching 30 over the central parts.

Vis : poor in rain and showers, clearing from the west by the

second half of the period.

Sea state: 3 to 4.5m, mainly WSW swell.
