Synopsis For The Suwannee River To Destin Out To 60 Nm
Synopsis
Winds and seas are now both below advisory levels early this morning. A dry cold front will approach from the northwest this afternoon...and will be accompanied by an increase in westerly winds. Another high pressure system will build across the eastern U.S. Behind the front tonight and Friday resulting in a brief period of lower winds and seas. Another storm system will approach on Saturday increasing winds and seas once again with a period of advisory conditions possible.

West winds 10 to 15 knots...increasing to 15 to 20 knots by midday. Seas 3 to 4 feet in Apalachee Bay...4 to 6 feet elsewhere. Protected waters a moderate chop to choppy.
Tonight
Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas subsiding to 2 to 3 feet in Apalachee Bay and 3 to 5 feet elsewhere. Protected waters choppy decreasing to a light to moderate chop.
Friday
East winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Protected waters smooth to a light chop.
Friday Night
Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Protected waters a light to moderate chop.
Saturday
South winds 15 to 20 knots...increasing to around 20 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet...building to 4 to 6 feet outside Apalachee Bay. Protected waters choppy. A chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Saturday Night
West winds around 20 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 feet...except 3 to 5 feet in Apalachee Bay. Protected waters choppy increasing to rough. A chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms ending with the wind shift.
Sunday
North winds around 20 knots decreasing to around 15 knots in the afternoon. Seas subsiding to 2 to 4 feet in Apalachee Bay and 4 to 6 feet elsewhere. Protected waters choppy decreasing to a moderate chop.
Sunday Night
North winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Protected waters a light to moderate chop.
Monday
Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Protected waters smooth.
