Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-
Synopsis
A light to moderate easterly flow will continue through today across the Lower Texas coastal waters. Easterly winds will remain light to moderate with low to moderate seas. The pressure gradient will then begin to tighten tonight and Sunday. A surface trough working through the western Gulf of Mexico will interact with a ridge of high pressure located across the Gulf Coast states. Increasing easterly winds will be possible along with gradually building seas. Small Craft Advisory conditions could be possible overnight into Sunday. Tropical Storm Ida is forecast to move into the south central Gulf of Mexico early Monday. As a result...winds and seas are expected to remain agitated through early next week.
