minus 2 this afternoon then falling to minus 7 Friday evening.



Northeast Gulf - northwestern half

Gulf - Port au Port - northwestern half.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind northeast 20 knots increasing to 40 near noon then diminishing

to north 25 late this evening. Wind diminishing to north 10 to 15

early Friday morning. Snow ending early Friday morning. Visibility 1

mile or less in snow. Temperatures near minus 2.



Northeast Gulf - southeastern half

Gulf - Port au Port - southeastern half.

Storm Warning in effect.

Wind east 30 knots increasing to southwest 40 this afternoon and to

55 early this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 to 35 after

midnight and to north 10 to 15 Friday morning. Snow changing to rain

near noon then to flurries early this evening. Visibility 1 mile or

less in precipitation. Temperatures minus 2 rising to plus 4 this

afternoon then falling to minus 1 this evening.

Wind east 35 knots increasing to southwest 40 near noon and to 50

early this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 35 near midnight

and to 25 early Friday morning. Wind diminishing to west 15 Friday

afternoon. Rain ending this afternoon. Visibility as low as 1 mile

in rain. Temperatures plus 4 falling to minus 1 Friday afternoon.



South Coast

East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south.

Wind southeast 25 knots increasing to southwest 35 to 45 near noon

then diminishing to 25 early Friday morning. Wind diminishing to

light Friday afternoon. Freezing drizzle and fog patches ending

early this evening.

Northeast coast - north of cape St. John.

Wind southwest 15 knots diminishing to light this afternoon then

increasing to northeast 25 early this evening. Wind backing to

northwest 25 late overnight. Snow beginning near noon and ending

Friday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow. Temperatures

minus 3 to zero.



Funk Island Bank.

Gale Warning in effect.

Wind southwest 15 knots increasing to southeast 25 this afternoon and

to southwest 40 this evening. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 near

noon Friday and to northwest 15 Friday evening. Snow changing to

showers early this afternoon and ending this evening. Visibility 1

mile or less in precipitation. Temperatures minus 2 rising to plus 3
