Swells associated with Hurricane Ike will continue to increase in the coastal waters through early next week. Additionally...an onshore gradient will increase through early next week as Ike is forecast to move west over Cuba or its adjacent waters while high pressure holds north of the area. There is uncertainty with the forecast once Ike reaches the Gulf of Mexico...and marine interests should continue to monitor the latest information from the National Hurricane Center.
