Aviation...aside from some patchy MVFR ceilings along the I-35 
corridor between 08z and 15z..conditions should remain mostly VFR 
clear through the next 24 hours. South to southeast winds 5 to 10 
kts tonight with southeast winds increasing to 10 to 15 kts kdrt 
terminal by late morning Sunday.

this afternoon the WV/infrared satellite loop depicted anti-cyclonic 
rotation over Texas...indicating the location over the upper 
level high. This feature will remain over Texas through Tuesday. 
Thus expect afternoon temperatures to once again soar into the upper 90s 
to around 100 in some locations. Areas that received the greatest 
amount of rainfall on Thursday will be a couple of degrees cooler. 


The upper level high will weaken and shift northward during the 
latter half of next week. This will allow for a more easterly 
flow off of the Gulf. This will result in afternoon temperatures a few 
degrees cooler but still at or slightly above seasonal norms. 
The sea-breeze may also become active beginning on Thursday. Thus 
will forecast a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms across our 
southeast counties Thursday through Saturday.
