Area forecast discussion
National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee
226 PM CDT Sat Oct 11 2008

Discussion...
upper level ridge will dominate weather for the next couple of
days and then the pattern becomes a little less stable.
However...models begin to differ on the solution by mid-week.
European model (ecmwf) has a trough that moves through area late next week at the
upper levels of the atmosphere. Meanwhile the GFS has a upper
level high that regains a foot hold on the weather. Have sort have
gone between the two with chances of precipitation thoughout most
of next week. However...most days probability of precipitation are less than 20 percent.
The exception is Monday night into Tuesday when a weak frontal
system moves across the mid-south.

Temperatures will be cooler next week...however...still slightly
above normal. Tlsjr
