Short term (today and tonight)... 
high pressure to our west will move east across the Ohio Valley 
through tonight...keeping our area dry. Radiational cooling has led 
to fog forming across much of the plateau and SW Virginia...and expect it 
to spread east over the next few hours. Will mention patchy fog in 
the morning. Skies will be mostly clear by late morning...and with 
full sun...high should reach the 85 to 90 range in the valley. Lows 
tonight will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s under clear skies. 


Long term (monday through saturday)...high pressure across the area 
bringing dry weather on Monday. Models indicate a front approaching 
the area on Monday night and lingers into Tuesday. Models indicate 
available moisture should be adequate to keep 40 percent probability of precipitation going 
for Tuesday and 30 percent probability of precipitation for Tuesday night. Front lingers to 
the east of the County Warning Area on Wednesday...so will keep slight chance probability of precipitation 
for the mountains on Wednesday. High pressure returns on Wednesday 
night bringing dry weather for Thursday. Another front approaches 
the region on Friday and lingers into Saturday. With deeper 
moisture available...will keep 30 percent probability of precipitation going for both Friday 
and Saturday. Stayed near guidance numbers for temperatures.
